Pringles Baconator, Wendy’s Baconator flavor transformed into single bite
Pringles Baconator, transforming a classic Wendy’s burger into one bite.
Wendy’s Baconator is a hearty, iconic burger. The new, limited edition Pringles Baconator brings that Pringles flavor ingenuity into a single, crisp bite. Your tastebuds will be surprised. When that bacon craving hits, a drive thru isn’t required.
Over the years Pringles has brought innovative flavors to the snack aisle. Whether it is Thanksgiving dinner or a fried chicken sandwich, the snack brand has found ways of transforming classic food flavors into the brand’s crisp.
In some ways, the Pringles flavor stacking has made these flavor innovations both possible and fun. While some of the flavor stacks push the creativity, other flavors big on classic combinations. From nacho pizza to your own pickle flavored creation, the flavor stacking possibles are almost endless.
While Pringles inspires flavor creativity, the new Pringles Baconator takes a different approach. All that tasty Wendy’s Baconator flavor is packed into a single crisp. No flavor stacking required.
If you are unfamiliar with the Wendy’s Baconator, the burger is a half pound, never frozen beef burger, topped with America Cheese, “six strips of crispy Applewood smoked bacon, ketchup and mayo.” To say that burger is a mouthful is an understatement. This Wendy’s burger is definitely a big, flavorful bite.
Pringles was ready and willing to take on the flavor challenge. The brand has proven that it can bring authenticity to that crisp and it does in this newest flavor.
Recently, I had the opportunity to try these Pringles Baconator crisps and they do deliver on that savory, bacon cheeseburger goodness. The best part is that you don’t have to worry about potentially spilling on your shirt.
Now, it is not the exactly the same as eating the Wendy’s burger but it does bring the same flavors to the table. More importantly, it is fun and snacking should be fun. If a snack doesn’t bring a smile, maybe you are eating the wrong snack.
Personally, I would recommend opening a can of the Pringles Baconator with an actual Wendy’s Baconator. Due to the differences in textures, you can’t do a blind taste test but you will be surprised at the similarities in flavors. And, add some of those Pringles as a topping to the Wendy’s burger for an even bigger Baconator flavor. It is definitely a flavor experience.
The Pringles Baconator will be available for a limited time starting in June. It will be available at retailers nationwide.
Are you ready for the newest Wendy’s flavor innovation? The Pringles Baconator is waiting for you.
