Periodically, Chick-fil-A offers limited time, seasonal menu items. Who hasn’t loved the peppermint shakes around the holidays? While these seasonal treats are tasty, the flavors tend to be traditional, classic flavors.
The new Mango Passion Tea Lemonade is a bold, tropical fruit flavor for the summer. The classic lemonade that everyone loves is blended with unsweetened iced tea. Then mango syrup, which has both mango and passionfruit flavors, is added.
The summer beverage should be the perfect twist of sweet and tart. While the pucker from the lemonade quenches the thirst, the hint of sweetness should entice another sip.
This beverage was originally tested in Jacksonville, Florida and was well received. According to Ben Bolling, beverages category leader at Chick-fil-A, this beverage helps to add variety to the beverage menu. Summertime is the perfect season to bring this option to menus everywhere.
The new Mango Passion Tea Lemonade will be available starting June 29.
In addition to this beverage, the Peach Milkshake is returning on June 29. Since peaches and cream are one of the most popular summer desserts, this milkshake is a tasty way to end a meal. Similar to the new beverage, the Peach Milkshake will be available for a limited time.
