Frozen cocktails are fabulous in the summer. Peach Bellinis are the perfect cocktail for a celebratory brunch  on the patio. Fresh peach puree ice cubes make Bellinis even more flavorful. Simply fill ice cube trays with fresh peach puree and freeze. The peach cubes will keep the Bellini icy cold, adding even more fresh peach flavor,  but won’t dilute the cocktail as they melt.

Frozen Peach Bellini

INGREDIENTS
1 cup 7UP® or Diet 7UP®
3 tbsp. white sugar
3 cups frozen peaches
1-1/2 cups prosecco sparkling wine
1/4 cup rum
Strawberry, for garnish

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ready In: 1 hour 5 minutes
Serving Size: 2-3 people

DIRECTIONS
In a blender, mix together the frozen peaches, sugar, and 7UP® or Diet 7UP®.
Place in a freezer-safe container, and freeze for an hour to firm (not too hard).
Once hardened, chop or break apart, blend with the prosecco and rum, and serve. Best served in a champagne flute.

7UP® is available in cherry flavor too  – regular or diet. Try cherry 7UP® in a Sunrise Tequila Cocktail.

Mocktails

One of my favorite summer memories is when my mother took me and my little girlfriend to a local restaurant for a fancy lunch. We would sip Shirley Temples topped with maraschino cherries. How we loved those fanciful drinks! Still one of the best mocktails for little girls and here’s the recipe from our friends at 7UP.

Shirley Temple

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup 7UP® or Diet 7UP®
1-1/2 tbsp. grenadine syrup
Ice
Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Ready In: 2 minutes
Serving Size: 1 person
DIRECTIONS
Mix together 7UP® or Diet 7UP® and grenadine syrup.
Pour over ice.
Top with cherries.

When the heat tops the charts, we are always looking for a Summer Breeze…

Summer Breeze

INGREDIENTS
3 cans frozen limeade drink
2 cans frozen lemonade drink
2 L. 7UP®
Ice
3 tsp. orange extract
Lemon and lime, for garnish

Ready In: 2 minutes
Serving Size: 8 people

DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients.
Serve over ice.
Garnish with lemon and lime slices

Fruity ice cubes dress up your cocktails and mocktails. Try placing lime and lemon slices in ice cube trays, cover with water (boiling the water first helps to make the ice less cloudy) and freeze.
