Move over Blizzards because the Dairy Queen Cotton Candy Dipped Cone is summer perfection.

Need another reason to go to Dairy Queen? The Dairy Queen Cotton Candy Dipped Cone has joined the treat menu and everyone is loving that taste of happy. Will you be enjoying one for National Ice Cream Day?

When it comes to Dairy Queen treats, the dipped cone is almost as popular as the Blizzard. While the Blizzard is filled with many flavors, the dipped cone is perfect in its simplicity. With the iconic twist top, that simple frozen treat is a favorite with young and old.

The new Cotton Candy Dipped Cone featured the creamy DQ soft serve that has been covered in a “sweet, pastel blue Cotton candy coating.” Whether you eat this treat for the flavor, the picture perfect coloring or just because you want an ice cream, it is a must try.

With National Ice Cream Day coming up on July 19, DQ is celebrating with a special offer. For users of the DQ app, they can receive $1 off any sized cone. Additionally, the offer is available one per customer.

If the Cotton Candy Dipped Cone is too sweet, there is the classic chocolate dipped cone. That combination of chocolate and vanilla soft serve is always tasty.

Since Dairy Queen is always looking to offer new flavors and combinations, it would be interesting to see what other flavor combinations are possible in a dipped cone. Previously, a dreamsicle option was offered. The combination of orange and vanilla is always delightful during the summer.

Also, a  raspberry flavor could be nice. A raspberry flavor works well with both vanilla soft serve and even chocolate.

Whether you choose to enjoy a Dairy Queen Dipped Cone, one of the summer Blizzards or a banana split, there are all types of treats to enjoy on National Ice Cream Day. On that food holiday, you could even have some ice cream for breakfast.
