Tiger Tails Twinkies are heading to Walmart but are they the best new Twinkie flavor?

With the obsession over all things feline, Tiger Tails Twinkies are coming to Walmart. The most recent new Twinkie flavor to join the evolving line-up will have people wanting to grab at least one box. Even after the novelty wears off, people will want to go back for another one.

Recently, Twinkie has been offering all types of limited-edition flavors. From seasonal options like pumpkin crème to the special Moonberry flavor, people are going in search of them like Tallahassee in Zombieland.

Beyond just revamping the Twinkie flavor, the popular Hostess treat has even expanded to other treats. Who tried the Twinkie cereal? It seems that the classic treat is everywhere.

Still, the latest new Twinkie flavor is a re-imagination of an earlier version. The original version had a raspberry topping and a coconut crème filling.

The new Tiger Tails Twinkies prefer to have a more feline connection. Wrapped in a tiger-striped package, the golden sponge cake is filled with fluffy orange crème. It is more of a color story than a flavor story.

This idea isn’t the first time that Twinkies have been inspired by big cats. There was a leopard inspired Twinkie in the past. That version had chocolate chip spots in the golden sponge cake.

While the iconic Twinkie will always be the best Twinkie flavor, many of the newer Twinkie flavors have become quite popular. From the chocolate coated Twinkies to the chocolate peanut butter versions, it seems that the new Twinkie flavors just keep coming.
