Instead of canceling Halloween, get a taste of Krispy Kreme Scary Sweet Monster Doughnuts.

Even though this Halloween will be non-traditional, Krispy Kreme Scary Sweet Monster Doughnuts will make the celebration special. From that special dozen to Sweet-or-Treat Saturdays, Krispy Kreme is ensuring that this Halloween will be filled with special treats.

The Krispy Kreme Scary Sweet Monster Doughnuts will be available starting on October 5. Three sweet monsters are more delightful than frightful. Whether you want all the same monster or a monster mash-up, Halloween will not be complete without enjoying at least one of these doughnuts.

The Frank Monster is a classic, just like his namesake. The Original Kreme filled doughnut is dipped in green icing and decorated. The pretzel piece bolts add a touch of salty to this sweet treat.

The Drake Monster Doughnut might make you want to eat the filling first. The raspberry filling is a sweet treat. With purple icing, sugar eyes and some “fangs,” you will want to take a bite before it bites you back.

Wolfie Monster Doughnut is for the chocolate lovers. Filled with chocolate kreme and decorated like a werewolf, you might be howling at the moon after that first bite. Don’t forget those cinnamon sugar cereal ears, which are the perfect final touch.

In addition to the Krispy Kreme Scary and Sweet Monster Doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is hosting Sweet-or-Treat Saturday. With some people skipping trick or treating this year, Krispy Kreme is giving people a different twist. Instead of asking for treats, it is encouraging guests to give treats.

“This Halloween, we’re trading scary for sweet and helping fans create new ways to safely enjoy the season,” said Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme. “Instead of asking for sweet treats, let’s give them away to all the neighbors, family and friends we appreciate so much. It’s not a normal Halloween, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it a sweet one.”

Starting on October 10, each Saturday through Halloween, participating locations will offer $1 Sweet-or-Treat dozen with the purchase of a dozen. It is a great way to spread a little extra sweetness to friends and family.

The Sweet-or-Treat Original Glazed dozen comes with a special surprise, a Jack-O-Lantern Doughnut. Each dozen is individually wrapped, too.

Just because Halloween might look and feel a little different this year doesn’t mean that people have to be frightened. With a little creativity this year’s Halloween celebration can be sweet, not spooky. Ready for another doughnut?
