Toast Ina Garten and new episodes of Barefoot Contessa with her signature cocktails.

Everyone loves Ina Garten and her Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. While everyone knows that Ina can create a perfect meal that Jeffery loves, her signature cocktails are legendary. While it might be hard to lift her gigantic cocktail glass, everyone can make a version at home while watching some new episodes.

For many people Ina Garten inspires them to get into the kitchen and cook. Whether it is her welcoming demeanor or her delicious recipes, the iconic Food Network show delights foodies.

Earlier this year, Ina posted some photos on Instagram of her infamous giant Cosmopolitan. While this cocktail was some people’s quarantine goals, her advice still rings true. Now more than ever, “stay safe, have a very good time, and don’t forget the cocktails.”

In an upcoming episode of Barefoot Contessa, she shares some of her signature cocktails. These cocktails are batch cocktails. Even though everyone might not be having big parties, one of these larger cocktails could help make the upcoming holidays a little more bearable.

No worries if you missed one of the Barefoot Contessa Food Network episodes, here are some of the cocktail recipes.

Ina Garten’s Cosmopolitan Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (16 ounces) Grey Goose vodka
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) bottled cranberry juice cocktail
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (3 limes)

Method:

  • Pour the ingredients into a pitcher.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker half full of ice.
  • Pour the cosmopolitan mixture into the cocktail shaker until it’s ¾ full and shake for 30 seconds.
  • Pour the mixture into a giant martini glass and serve immediately.

Note:

  • For regular sized cosmopolitans, mix the ingredients in a pitcher and then shake with ice in a cocktail shaker and pour into 6 martini glasses. Please sip responsibly.

This Cosmopolitan recipe is the one that everyone recognizes. Sure, it takes some big muscles to lift that martini glass. More importantly, if you drank one too many, your brunch might end in a long nap.

Still, a batch cocktail can be a great idea. Just because you make extra cocktails doesn’t mean that you have to drink the entire beverage at once. It can be divided and enjoyed over time.
