Krispy Kreme continues to bring new, exciting flavors. From the chocolate glaze to the limited-edition flavors, the popular doughnut brand is always looking to innovate. While the original glaze will always be on the menu, these new flavors entice guests to make a special trip.

Available starting today, the Krispy Kreme is adding two new doughnut flavors, new Krispy Kreme caramel glaze doughnut and Salted Double Caramel Crunch Doughnut. Given the popularity of caramel flavors, these two new doughnuts will definitely be a hit.

According to Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer of Krispy Kreme, “There are a lot of caramel lovers out there and if you’re one of them, this doughnut is going to blow your mind. It’s incredibly delicious and you’re going to need to take a moment for yourself and just be one with caramel awesomeness. It’s been a year, to say the least. You’ve earned it.”

The Caramel Glazed Doughnut is the classic Original Glazed doughnut that has been covered in rich caramel. While the chocolate glaze has become a first Friday favorite, it isn’t the only time that the glaze has received a flavor makeover. Previously, the glazed has included lemon, blueberry, strawberry and coffee.

If the caramel flavor is well-received, it seems possible that this new flavor could become a special edition that comes back periodically. Maybe this flavor could become the first Monday of the month special glaze.

Even more exciting is the Salted Double Caramel Crunch Doughnut. This doughnut gets a boost from the salted crunch topping.

Salted caramel has seen a spike in popularity. The touch of salt tends to make the caramel a touch sweeter. It is the perfect yin and yang.

The new Krispy Kreme caramel glaze doughnuts are available starting today. They will be available for a limited time, but Krispy Kreme has not specified an exact duration.
