Frosty Key Tags back soon at Wendy’s for a good cause
The popular Frosty Key Tags will be back soon at Wendy’s.
Frosty fans will be pleased to learn that the Frosty Key Tags will be back soon at Wendy’s, and it’s even for a good cause.
The Frosty Key Tag can be purchased for $2 at participating Wendy’s locations beginning on Monday, November 23, which the customer can redeem for a free Jr Frosty with any purchase throughout 2021. These will be available until January 31, and 85 percent of the cost will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption (DTAF), which was founded in 1992 and is devoted to helping children in the foster system find permanent homes.
Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas began the foundation as a result of President George HW Bush asking him to be a spokesperson for a nationwide adoption campaign.
Frosty Key Tags can either be purchased physically in stores or customers can get a digital version through the app, which will then automatically be applied to your order.
This is the first year that a digital option is available, which makes for good timing, given the rise of delivery during 2020 as in-store visits plummet due to the pandemic.
And while that is a fantastic cause to keep in mind, there’s also a good deal Wendy’s fans can take part in through the app going on right now until Sunday, November 29, where they can get any size drink for free with any purchase, and can be re-used once per day (so that’s a Dr Pepper for Sunday, a Diet Coke for Monday, etc).
Every time a customer redeems this free drink offer, Coca-Cola and Dr Pepper will donate $5 to the DTAF, which can add up into a significant number.
Also, with the weather turning colder as winter begins to set in around the country, some burgers could be just the right note to hit, especially the massive Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger, which packs more than enough taste to satisfy.
