New Hershey Easter Candy needs to hop into the Easter basket
The new Hershey Easter candy brings sweet flavor and fun to the Easter basket.
Ready for the new Hershey Easter candy? While it might be a little while till the Easter Bunny starts his annual hop, the new Easter candy options from Hershey will make you wish for spring to come sooner. What tasty Hershey candy will you want to see in your Easter basket?
Hershey has found a way to innovate flavor and fun while building on the classic candies that people love. With four new Easter candy offerings, this year’s Easter basket might need to be a little bigger to enjoy all the candy treats.
The most talked about new candy is the Reese’s Mallow-Top Peanut Butter Cups. While Reese’s is always a top selling candy and the Reese’s Eggs have been a classic Easter candy, this new version has many people excited to get a taste.
According to Michael Reese, Senior Brand Manager, Holiday. “We’ve reimagined the classic Reese’s Cup by combining the top Easter flavors, milk chocolate, marshmallow and delicious Reese’s peanut butter, all into one amazing cup. Yes, it’s as good as it sounds.”
Recently, I had an opportunity to taste the new Reese’s Mallow-Top Peanut Butter Cups. They are sweet, but not overly sugary. When paired with the Reese’s Peanut Butter, it is a flavor that evolves, a touch sweet, rich and quite craveable.
While many people will talk about the flavor, a new aspect to this Reese’s cup is quite innovative. Since the top of the Reese’ cup is white, it invites creativity. Why not draw a design on top. From a pretty flower to an Easter egg, that candy becomes treat and decoration.
Thinking about this idea, it shows that these Reese’s cups are more than just a candy. From using the Reese’s cups as a topper for a dessert or just decorating the dessert table, the options are many.
In addition to the Reese’s Mallow-Top Peanut Butter Cups, the two new Hershey’s Bunnies will change how you think about the traditional chocolate Easter bunny. The Hershey’s milk chocolate Pip Bunny gives chocolate ears lovers even more chocolate goodness.
The Hershey’s milk chocolate Pip Bunny will get a lot of attention for his long ears, but his cute design isn’t just long ears. That adorable little face will bring extra smiles.
Also, the Hershey’s milk chocolate Build-A-Bunny will be a favorite with kids. Similar to the holiday build a snowman and build a Santa option, these treats encourage a little play with the candy. Sometimes the sweetest treat is one that comes with a little playtime.
Lastly, the Ice Breakers Strawberry Lemonade Duckling could be a treat that celebrates the Spring season both before and after the Easter Bunny arrives. The adorable duckling container will bring smiles whether sitting in the car cup-holder or sitting on your desk. Sometimes, the little things make the holiday season a little brighter.
Plus, the strawberry lemonade flavor is perfect for Spring. A touch tart yet still sweet, it brings the brightness that everyone needs in the Springtime.
In addition to the new Hershey Easter candy, other favorite Easter candy will be returning as well. From the Cadbury Eggs to the popular Lemon Crisp Kit Kat, the candy shelves will be filled with sweet treats. Of course, the iconic Reese’s Eggs will be back, too.
The new Hershey Easter Candy as well as its popular returning favorites will be hitting store shelves for a limited time. Easter 2021 will be held on April 4.
