Michelob Ultra Organic Hard Seltzer found a way to stand out on the shelf.

As the hard seltzer category continues to grow, Michelob Ultra Organic Hard Seltzer fills a void that appeals to sophisticated drinkers. While being the “first-ever national USDA certified organic hard seltzer” will entice many people to pop open a can, the clean, crisp flavors will have people coming back after that first sip.

Michelob Ultra has found a loyal fan base as a lifestyle brand. Many people prefer the brand since it appeals to their balanced lifestyle. While they want to have that occasional beer, it can’t undo all those other choices.

In addition, taste is important to the Michelob Ultra consumer. From the first sip to the last drop, the flavors needs to be crisp, clean and clear. Since many of the drinkers lean towards sophisticated tastes, the brand satisfies.

Ricardo Marques, Global Vice President of Michelob ULTRA, said, “We’re kicking off 2021 in a big way by bringing an innovative, first-of-its-kind organic option to the hard seltzer category for those who enjoy clean and refreshing flavors,”

The new Michelob Ultra Organic Hard Seltzer sets itself off from other brands in this crowded space. Beyond being an organic offering, the clean, crisp taste is quite different. After one sip, the beverage doesn’t stay on your palate. The finish is  refreshing and leads you back for another sip.

Most noticeable to drinkers is the flavor options. Available in three flavors, Cucumber Lime, Peach Pear and Spicy Pineapple, the duality flavors fits into the more mature drinker target market. It is a sophisticated taste while still being approachable.

Having recently tried the three beverages, the most noticeable difference with each hard seltzer is the aroma. Since I poured the Michelob Ultra Organic Hard Seltzer into Collins glasses, the aroma was quite noticeable and enticing.

From the spa like quality of the cucumber lime to the juicy peach, one whiff tells you what to expect from the flavor. While the aromas are enticing, the flavors deliver. Since it is a combination flavor, one flavor presents first than the other finishes. It is a lovely progression.

Many people were excited for the spicy pineapple. Since most hard seltzers do not have a spicy component, this flavor is a game changer. The aroma hits with the spice. It is not overpowering but it is apparent. The hard seltzer is more pineapple forward.

Thinking about this flavor, it would be really tasty with a piece of Tajin rubbed pineapple as a garnish. It would bring together the flavors and add some excitement.

Truthfully, the spicy pineapple is probably the easiest flavor to pair with food. It would be great with a simple taco or it could even pair with an Asian noodle dish. Even a plate of spicy chicken wings would be a great option.

Overall, the Michelob Ultra Organic Hard Seltzer can both complement and contrast with food pairings. Since the hard seltzer has such a clean, crisp taste, it plays well with all types of combination. Whether it is a plate of fried chicken and the peach pear or a Greek salad with the cucumber lime, the options are plentiful.
