Luckily, the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts menu is full of sweet treats. Whether you prefer to be an adventurous eater or rather stay within the familiar flavor boundaries, there are many tempting options.
With so many desserts on the menu, it can be nice to have a friend to share the plates. Although the plates are relatively small, it can be a lot of food. Although you do not have to do a Lady and the Tramp spaghetti moment, but you can share the same fork.
What delicious Epcot desserts are a must try?
One of the most creative Epcot desserts is the Pistachio Cake with Cherry Mousse and Morello Cherries. Each component can be eaten on its own or you can combine all the flavors together. But, do save one of the cherry shaped truffles to the end. It is the perfect last bite.
As shared before, the Mouskoutchou from the Mosaic Canteen is delicious. The combination of the orange cake and the cinnamon orange chocolate mousse will transport you to an exotic flavor combination.
For a spicy option, the Taco de Chocolate from the El Artista Harmbriento is a must try. The hint of Chile with the chocolate and the tropical fruit is the spicy that can bring the heat to table. Whether or not it sparks romance remains to be seen.
If you prefer to drink your dessert, why not try the Deconstructed Breakfast (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Although breakfast might not always be a dessert, this Chai Tea Shake tastes more like a sweet treat. And, the candied bacon is a nice touch.
One of the most delicious Epcot desserts that is a re-imagined classic is the Opera Cake at Cuisine Classique. The coffee buttercream is luscious and provides the perfect contrast to the chocolate ganache. Although the dessert looks delicate the flavors are exquisite.
Of course, a decadent chocolate cake is always a great choice. The Moelleux a la Frambouse et aux Chocolats Valrhona is a must. As the first bite reveals the molten chocolate cake center, it will make you wish that you could have this treat every day.
These delicious Epcot desserts are just a few of the many culinary delights at the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts. The Epcot festival at Disney Parks runs now through February 22. Theme park reservations are required, and guests must follow all health and safety protocols.
