Kellogg’s Jumbo SNAX has transformed cereal snacking. While everyone has a favorite cereal, some iconic brands have ditched the bowl for a convenient, on the go way of enjoying those tasty flavors. While there are several options on the shelf, another flavor will soon be added. Could there be some nostalgia in that cereal snack bag?

Recently, Kellogg’s announced that a new flavor will be added to the Jumbo SNAX line. Previously, it was announced that SMORZ was joining Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops and Apple Jacks. On March 4, National Snack Day, Kellogg’s will reveal the next flavor. Any guesses which iconic brand will join the group?

Erin Storm, senior marketing director of Kellogg All Family Cereal, said, “Breakfast isn’t the only time for cereal, and Kellogg’s Jumbo Snax has given our fans an easy way to enjoy cereal beyond the bowl. Our new Kellogg’s Jumbo Snax additions bring flavors that our fans love to their snacking routine, so no matter the craving or occasion, there’s a cereal snack to satisfy your taste buds.”

Any clues about the new Jumbo SNAX flavor?

In a recent media mailing, Kellogg’s compiled many of its iconic brands and their logos. While some cereals might not be on the tip of your tongue, many flavors are childhood favorites. Who didn’t jump for joy when breakfast include Kellogg’s Honey Smacks? Maybe you are one of the people who remembers Cruncheroos.

Some Kellogg’s cereals lend themselves to being this type of cereal snack. While Rice Krispies are a classic, there are rice krispies treats that are too similar. The same concept would apply to Crispix or even raisin squares.

While many people are trying to solve the great cereal snacking mystery, FoodSided is willing to wager a guess. Although Smorz is listed in the panel, Smacks is our pick. It has the right texture and could easily be made into a bigger size. Plus, the nostalgia aspect is perfect for this campaign.

Will this guess be right or wrong? Come back on March 4, National Snack Day, and see what the big reveal says.
