Birthday Cake Pebbles are a yabba dabba cereal celebration
Birthday candles are coming to the cereal bowl because Birthday Cake Pebbles are here to turn every day into a celebration. While you do not have to a dinosaur size helping, but will want to have a big spoon to enjoy every bite. It’s time to get up and go before this new cereal has got up and went.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Pebbles cereal. As the first brand created around a television character, the popular cereal has had various flavors over the year. While named after Fred and Wilma’s daughter, the flavorful cereal has become a favorite with fans of all ages.
The new Birthday Cake Pebbles include vanilla birthday cake and frosting flavor flakes. These flakes are combined with blue, pink, and yellow ones. The bright colors look like a confetti celebration in the bowl.
According to Amy Brothers, Pebbles Cereal Brand Manager at Post Consumer Brands, she said, “When it comes to birthdays, there’s nothing more iconic than a colorful cake. Our new Birthday Cake Pebbles cereal is a fun and delicious twist on the traditional birthday cake and is just one more way we’re celebrating with fans and keeping Pebbles 50th birthday party going this year.”
How does Birthday Cake Pebbles add to the cereal conversation?
While the Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles are cereal classics, there have been other limited edition cereal offerings from the brand. Recently, there was an all-pink version called Magic Fruity Pebbles, which turned the cereal milk blue.
Other limited edition flavors have been offered as well. From cinnamon flavored offerings to sugar cookie, these special flavors were a pebble off the ol’ Flinstone.
Since this year marks the 50th celebration of the Pebbles brand, there have been more offerings featuring the classic cereal brand. Some items have included Duncan Hines Fruity Pebbles cakes, ice creams and even International Delight Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles Coffee Creamers.
