When that chicken sandwich or biscuit craving calls, the Popeyes Rewards program is going to make that food ordering decision even sweeter. To kick off the program launch, new members can enjoy a Welcome To The Popeyes Fam Meal. Looks like dinner plans are made.

Building on its Southern traditions and hospitality, the new Popeyes Rewards program celebrates their guests and their loyalty. The idea is to make everyone feel like they are part of the Popeyes family.

As Bruno Cardinali, Popeyes Chief Marketing Officer, said, “We have been humbled to see our fans express their loyalty for our brand time and time again. Our goal has been to create a perfect loyalty program that matches and rewards their unparalleled enthusiasm.”

According to the brand, this restaurant loyalty program looks to offer more items than just another deal. It will include “celebrations, member experiences and swag.”

Of course, guests will earn points for ordering that famous chicken and biscuits, but this program looks to do more. Even with its first promotion, it wants to convey that the guests are part of a special group, valued and even part of the family.

Restaurant reward programs have become a necessity for restaurant brands. Looking at many people’s devices, screens are filled with icons that offer savings. From that weekly deal to the limited time menu item, more and more people want the convenience and value from ordering through a restaurant rewards program.

Although it can be debated if guests order more through restaurant reward programs, the reality is that these options can drive consumers purchase decisions. Even though the programs vary, the restaurants without a loyalty program are losing out.

Popeyes Rewards kicks off with the Welcome To the Popeyes Fam Meal.

To launch the Popeyes Rewards program, the brand will be offering a special meal just for its members. The Welcome To The Popeyes Fam meal includes “featuring 8 pieces of Popeyes signature bone-in chicken,1 large side & 4 biscuits.”

This meal is available exclusively to members and can be ordered via the app or online from June 17 to July 1. When purchasing the meal, members will receive “500 points towards future orders.”

In addition, when guests signup for the rewards program, they receive “free apple pie, regular side or small drink.” That offer is separate from the family meal deal.
