National Ice Cream Day is on the horizon.  On July 18th forget about your diet and indulge in a delicious cheat day.  Bring your sweet tooth because what better way to celebrate National Ice Cream Day than with sweet deals and new flavors! Big chains like Dairy Queen, Ben and Jerry’s, and Baskin Robbins have announced new flavors and deals, but branch out and try ice cream from these companies instead.

Eclipse Ice cream is so creamy even the cows are jealous

Summer is here and ice cream is one of the best snacks to have a hot summer day and Eclipse Foods has six new flavors to choose from.  Based in Berkeley, CA, the plant based-ice cream is made from simple ingredients oat corn, potato, cassava, organic cane sugar, and non-GMO expeller pressed canola oil.  The new flavors are Strawberry Fields, Mango Passion Fruit, Mint Chip, Caramel Butter Pecan, Dark Side of the Spoon, and Cookies n’ Cream.

The pandemic did have an affect on the company, but founders  Aylon Steinhart and Thomas Bowman hope to expand even more and have their creamy treats in fast food restaurants such as Sonic, Wendy’s, Dairy Queen, and Carl’s Jr.

This iconic NYC eatery is giving out free pints of their premium ice cream

Holding the world Guinness record for most expensive fries isn’t the only thing this New York eatery is known for.  Serendipity 3, one of New York City’s most notable restaurants is giving out free pints of their super-premium ice cream brand, Serendipity Brands on National Ice Cream Day while supplies last.   While they have several decadent flavors here are some of their top sellers.
