From leading up to the big day to the hunger after opening all the presents, some simple holiday breakfasts start the day with a little merriment. While some families have traditional recipes and other food choices, the holiday season doesn’t have to be filled with elaborate offerings. Sometimes easy is the morning mantra that everyone needs.

Luckily, there are many holiday themed breakfast ideas that are within reach. For example, Cap’n Crunch brought back its Christmas Crunch. The classic cereal has a colorful upgrade with red and green holiday shapes.

While the classic Cap’n Crunch flavors are in the bowl, the theme makes it fun. From the holiday sweater game on the back of the box to just enjoying a classic cereal, a bowl of Cap’n Crunch always brings the smiles.
