As many aspiring wizards revisit the Harry Potter that intrigued them for so many years ago, the least popular Harry Potter food might have cast a spell on fans. Although many people thirst for that Butterbeer or long a seat at those banquet tables, the reality is that one food might be a hard pass. Have you dared to try this Harry Potter food?

While the story and spells captivate Harry Potter fans, the reality is that food is woven into the story. From celebratory meals to traveling to Hogsmeade, the reality is that food and the Wizarding World are connected.

Even though guests at a Universal theme park get a taste of those tempting treats, people long to have that experience outside of the turnstiles. From making Butterbeer at home to trying to recreate one of those delicious feasts, many people long to wave a magic wand and have food appear in front of their eyes.

Ahead of the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, HelloFresh UK surveyed the most and least popular Harry Potter food choices. While Butterbeer continues to be the top choice with fans, the least popular choice was a little surprising. Was it the uncertainty lurking in the box?

Following Butterbeer as the most popular food, the second more popular food choice was Chocolate Frogs. Although the Hogwarts trolley sold these treats and Honeydukes in Universal offers them, the chocolate frogs can be found worldwide. Although the versions sold in stores might not jump out of the train window, they are quite tasty and there is a treat inside.

The third most popular treat is pumpkin pasties. While this preference might be a UK specific preference, the reality is that this pumpkin recipe has many people longing for that perfect bite. Maybe this pumpkin treat will finally replace that love of a PSL.

The least popular Harry Potter food is Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans. While many of the “beans” in the box are quite tasty, the possibility of getting that bad flavor has many people passing on the sweet treat. Who can blame them. Does anyone really want one of those nasty flavors?

Even if people debate over which food is the best or worst, the reality is that Harry Potter and the related foods are part of the pop culture narrative. It might not turn a muggle into a wizard but it is a taste of that magical world.
