While the pantry shelves might be lined with a variety of cheesy snacks, the new Cheez-It Puff’d offers a different texture in that first bite. Even those that cheese flavor is front and center, this pillowy, poppable snack is one that will fly out of the bowl. Are you ready for a new snacktime adventure?

Over the past couple of years, Cheez-It has reimagined its classic cheese snack crackers. From adding a bolder crunch with its Snap’d line to bringing a little levity to snacks and wine, that classic red box is never stale.

Although snack trends can go in various directions, one constant seems to remain. Enjoying a snack is about having a little fun. While there can be that moment to curb a hunger, it is more than just stopping the stomach growl. People crave great taste with a little extra that brings a smile.

What makes Cheez-It Puff’d so different?

While many people expect a cheesy, crunchy bite with Cheez-It, the new Cheez-It Puff’s offers a multi-sensory eating experience. Without losing a crunch factor, the airy, pillowy center is slightly unexpected and leaves people wanting more.

As Erin Storm, senior marketing director of Cheez-It, said “We know families are constantly seeking new ways to boost snacktime and afternoon fun, and Cheez-It Puff’d delivers just that. This puffy and airy Cheez-It transformation is the perfect way to unlock a surprisingly uplifting snacktime experience the whole family is sure to enjoy.”

Hoping that this new offering will have some snackers feeling on cloud nine, the new line comes in three flavors, Double Cheese, White Cheddar and Scorchin’ Hot Cheddar. While the Double Cheese and White Cheddar might be expected offerings, the addition of the spicy option seems to be on trend.

More and more brands are finding it imperative to have a boldly flavored snack within a new product launch. With the Scorchin’ Hot Cheddar, the bold spice is apparent, but it is not too far extreme. It is like that slow burn that brings people back to the snack bowl to try it over and over again.

The new Cheez-It Puff’d will be available in stores starting in February 2022.
