While Frank’s RedHot might go on everything, the brand is taking the traditional Big Game Buffalo Wings in a new direction. The most valuable cryptocurrency might be sitting on the plate.

Pop culture moments often have people talking. While the Big Game often has people gathering around a screen to watch the action and the commercials, the food is just as much part of that experience. From that good luck food to traditional football spread, people crave a taste just much as they want to see an epic play to win the game.

While people can debate the preferences of drums versus flats or ranch versus blue cheese, everyone can agree that a plate of chicken wings always satisfies. In some ways, that pile of discarded bones is a trophy for eating well. Now, it might be a way to earn a little extra Bonecoin.

As the digital space takes over the conversation, terms like NFTs and cryptocurrency have gained a better understanding. Although the concept of best appreciating the hows and whys the non-tangible items equate to value might be harder to describe than the correct way to eat a chicken wing, people are captivated by the digital space.

Frank’s Red Hot has found a way to enter that digital space with their own spin. Since it is a brand that is never shy to emphatically put their stamp on a flavor, this Bonecoin and edible NFT promotion is one that its fans will appreciate.

As Alia Kemet, VP of Creative & Digital, McCormick said, “Frank’s RedHot keeps a pulse on the latest trends, and we are particularly excited about giving fans the opportunity to tap into the NFT space in a saucy and interactive way. We’re excited to be a first to offer an edible NFT, or what we’re calling an eNFT. What better way to enjoy football than with your own Frank’s wing art – both digital and edible.”

Unlike some NFTs and cryptocurrency conversations, Frank’s RedHot is opening this opportunity to everyone, as long as you like chicken wings. To participate, people who “scan images of the chicken wing bones” and upload them to Bonecoin.com fill their coffers. The person with the “most Bonecoin will win the Frank’s RedHot NFT and its edible replica, the eNFT.”

Granted, this idea is a fun promotion and a way hopefully to entice people to eat more buffalo wings with Frank’s RedHot, it does beg the question. Does it have to be just buffalo wings? While that sauce goes on everything, what about the people who like to change up the flavor a little more. That sauce can be used in a variety of chicken wing recipes.

A few big chicken wing fans will get a special opportunity to try this new cyber food promotion. Eli Manning, will be part of the Frank’s Wing Wagon. The Frank’s pop up will be in New York City on Broadway between W 58th and W 59th St. on February 2. Wonder how many “coins” people can earn by devouring wings on that day.

While this promotion is in good fun, it leaves one big question on the table. How many wings will it take to win the prize? Since all the wings do not have to be eaten in a single setting, like a competitive eater, the total could be quite high.

Are you ready to get a little saucy and stake your claim on some Bonecoin? Frank’s RedHot has opened the vault and is waiting for your withdrawl.
