After announcing that Hell’s Kitchen is set to return to the FOX schedule, a new Gordon Ramsay food television show is ready to captivate viewers. Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars looks to discover the latest food innovations. What food trend will get the Gordon seal of approval?

Gordon Ramsay has taken over FOX programming. While there might have previously been a summer of Gordon, it seems that the continually rotation of innovative food television programs  keep viewers watching over and over again.

Although the Ramsay persona tends to adapt to the particular genre (everyone knows the difference between fiery Gordon on Hell’s Kitchen versus nurturing Gordon on MasterChef Junior), the new Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars should showcase the tough love that entrepreneurs need. Making waves in the food world is not easy. Anyone who thinks that there is a free lunch waiting needs to re-think the concept.

As reported by Deadline, a Ramsay statement was clear about the intent “to support and foster the endeavors of the next generation of extraordinary culinary talent.” Specifically, “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars challenges me to do exactly that, all while raising the stakes with my own investment and a whole new level of mentorship and challenge, pushing those with the skills and drive to make it all the way to the top. The future of our food industry has never been more exciting, and I can’t wait for audiences to follow our search across the country as we unearth some of the most entrepreneurial talent out there.”

While a version of this show has debuted in the UK, it will be interesting to see what products are showcased in the U.S. Although some people might draw similarities to other Food Network programs or even Shark Tank, the Ramsay element will draw many viewers.

Given that Ramsay is using his companies to support the rising culinary talent, it creates more ways to integrate his brands into people’s lives. Beyond watching the numerous television shows, people are hungry eat at those restaurants or even cook with those HexClad pans.

While the exact premiere date of Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars has yet to be revealed, there is no shortage of Ramsay shows to enjoy. Until then, watch some MasterChef Junior or rewatch the old seasons of Hell’s Kitchen and enjoy the evolution of food television.
