Howl-O-Scream 2022 amplifies the frights at every turn

While the inaugural SeaWorld Orlando Halloween event brought had everyone shrieking at the sights, Howl-O-Scream 2022 looks to amplify the experience. Are you prepared for the frights that could be coming from the water?

Halloween is a huge event across Orlando. While there are some family friendly events, the more thrilling events are for the adults. Even if the well-known characters are hidden in the shadows, SeaWorld looks to original content to elevate the fear factor.

As seen last year’s event, SeaWorld and its scare actors get into their fear-inducing roles. Whether it is the scare zone that offer no place to hide to houses that have you wondering what is around the corner, a good cocktail can help settle the nerves after the event.

One of the highlights last year was the interactive bars. While each location’s signature cocktail was a reason to travel the depths to get each sip, the interaction with the characters made guests linger a little longer. These experiences made the Howl-O-Scream event.

What’s new at Howl-O-Scream 2022?

For this year’s SeaWorld Orlando Halloween event, the creative team is offering new shows, scare zones and some re-imagined houses. Here is a complete list.

• All New “Lurking in the Depths” show
• All New “Sea of Fear” scare zone
• All New “Cut Throat Cove” scare zone
• Re-imagined: “Captain’s Revenge – Drowned in Sorrow” house
• Re-imagined: “Frozen Terror” scare zone
• Re-imagined: “Longshoremen’s Tavern” bar
• Returning: “Beneath the Ice” house
• Returning: “Tormented” bar

While Howl-O-Scream will have people running scared, Ice Breaker will be open to offer more thrills. The theme park’s newest roller coaster is event more engaging in the dark. The multiple launches and vertical drop make for the ultimate frightful plunge.
