While everyone knows that enjoying a meal at Burger King is all about having that food your way, there is one element that everyone wants. Warm food should be served warm. There is nothing worse than that Whopper having an unwanted chill. Thanks to a food fashion collaboration with STAYCOOLNYC, the temperature will always be perfect.

Food fashion continues to be a hot topic. Beyond the holiday sweaters and special gifts, more brands are looking to put functionality into the conversation. Pockets can either keep food hot or cold, depending on the preferred intention.

As Burger King has looked to take its brand into a modern direction, as seen with its new You Rule commercials, functional food fashion is an important part of that conversation. Just like people want convenience in their food ordering, the outfit that they wear needs to be more than just any hoodie. It needs to serve a purpose.

The new BK and STAYCOOLNYC collaboration does just that. The limited edition hoodie has two built-in pockets with “insulated warming technology.” As the cold weather takes hold, no one wants that chill to ruin the Whopper. These pockets avoid that dreaded food scenario.

Although not necessarily the idea from the brand, the hoodie might keep your hands warm too on chilly days. If it can keep that burger warm, it should be an extra cozy addition to the closet.

In addition, the design celebrates the Whopper. From the custom embroidery to the design, it shouts to the world that you are a fan of the iconic burger that has been part of the food conversation since 1957.

The “retro-futuristic chillwear” will be available while supplies last on merch.bk.com starting on Friday, December 16. Like many food fashion drops, it will be sold out faster than a person can eat a Whopper.
