Fritos might be a mainstay with chili, dip, or just served with a sandwich. While that classic corn chip satisfies, some snack food fans wanted a bolder flavor to come back to the bag. A few years back, a special flavor was available at Dollar General, now Frito-Lay is bringing that flavor back for everyone to enjoy. Ready to open a bag of Fritos FLAMIN’ HOT Bar-B-Q?

Flamin’ Hot has become a mainstay across Frito-Lay snack brands. What originally started as a flavor for Cheetos, the reality is that the bolder flavor works equally well on other snack foods. Even if there is a little extra color left on the fingers, that extra is worth the eating enjoyment.

While bold flavors have been a food trend across the board, brands have been turning to consumers for the upcoming offerings. Instead of venturing into something totally new, they are bringing back brand favorites. Given that fans have been vocal about their longing for a taste that they remember, brands want to satisfy that craving.

As Stacy Taffet, senior vice president of brand marketing, Frito-Lay North America said, “Dozens of innovative Fritos flavors have been part of our lives for more than 90 years, and our fans have made it clear that Fritos Bar-B-Q is their all-time favorite. Those passionate snackers inspired us to pair that fan-favorite with our other flavor giant, Flamin’ Hot, to create a kicked-up version of the classic Bar-B-Q that spicy snackers and Fritos fans will want to bring to every get-together this summer.”

Thinking about this Fritos flavor, it is perfect for the beginning of summer. From that Memorial Day barbecue to snacks to keep the energy up during those late night study events, the bold heat with the corn crunch satisfies.

And, when that rainy spring day brings a slight chill, these Fritos can add flavor to a variety of recipes. From topping a casserole or used as a coating for chicken, there are almost endless options. Basically, there are plenty of reasons to buy an extra bag.

The Fritos FLAMIN’ HOT Bar-B-Q is available at various retailers, while supplies last, until June. It will be sold in three bag sizes: 9.25 ounces for $5.69, 3.5 ounces for $2.49, and 1.0 ounces for $0.50.
