With TruffVels, a collaboration between VELVEETA and Compartes, the VELVEETA-Infused Shell-Shaped Chocolate Truffles show that cheese and chocolate are sweet companions.

TruffVels, the VELVEETA-Infused Shell-Shaped Chocolate Truffles, are the first first-ever chocolate cheese truffle. Partnering with Compartes makes sense. The innovative chocolatier has never shied away from fun collaborations or unusual flavor pairings. As Jonathan Grahm, Compartés CEO and Lead Chocolatier described the offering, it is “delicious, decadent, delightful and unexpected.”
The TruffVels are described as “Compartés sweet white chocolate paired with the creamy delicious bite of VELVEETA.” Thinking about this combination it might be on the sweeter side. Although there are chocolate cheese fudge options on the market, the white chocolate is definitely a different approach. The slight tangy, saltiness of the Velveeta should play into that sweetness.
Making the TruffVels looks like VELVEETA Shells and Cheese was playful. If a company is going to go all in on this expression of the “La Dolce VELVEETA” the appearance is just as important as the taste.
