Bobby’s Triple Threat Season 2 premiere date announced
While Food Network has a plethora of Bobby Flay centric culinary competitions, one food television program brought together some of the best chefs in the nation. In a recent programming announcement, Bobby’s Triple Threat Season 2 premiere date was revealed. The dog days of summer just got tastier.
For those people unfamiliar with Bobby’s Triple Threat, the culinary competition pits titans Tiffany Derry, Michael Voltaggio and Brooke Williamson against a variety of other highly talented chefs. While the speakeasy style kitchen might seem to offer a welcoming vibe, the competition is decidedly heated.
Speaking to Bobby’s Triple Threat Season 2, Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery said, “The level of chefs competing in this season of Bobby’s Triple Threat is extraordinary – they are truly the best of the best, making these some of the toughest battles we’ve ever seen. Bobby is all-in for his titans and believes they have what it takes to beat any great chef, even if that great chef is one of his best friends.”
For Season 2, even more famous and celebrated chefs are joining the competition, including Kelsey Barnard Clark, Esther Choi, Kelvin Fernandez, Byron Gomez, Rashida Holmes, Mei Lin and Shota Nakajima. While each round brings together different ingredients, the chefs must showcase their adaptability while never losing their own culinary style.
While some of these chefs have battled each other in other Food Network competitions, each show offers a new tidbit for the food television fan. From the witty banter to the creativity on the plate, there is always a reason to watch another episode.
Although the new season is full of immense talent, the battle that everyone might want to watch is when Michael Symon arrives in the kitchen. Since Flay and Symon are longtime friends, the battle for supremacy could be bragging rights for a long time. It will be interesting to see if the Iron Chef can outlast some of the new guard.
Bobby’s Triple Threat Season 2 debuts Tuesday, August 22nd at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Food Network. In addition, episodes both new and old can be streamed on MAX.
