While Dr. Oddfellow might be a Halloween Horror Nights icon, another favorite Halloween character will be gracing guests with his presence this year. At the HHN Orlando Peacock’s Halloween Horror Bar, David S. Pumpkins, aka the King of Halloween, will be shaking up some fierce libations with a few friends.

For HHN 32, the event is full of haunted houses, scare zones, and performances. Since many people grab their scare squad to enjoy all the evening experiences, food and beverage options are integral to the overall enjoyment.

New for this year is the HHN Orlando Peacock’s Halloween Horror Bar. Nestled into the Lombard’s Seafood Grill back patio, the immersive, ominous nightclub vibe experience brings a new character which has not been featured at recent HHN events. Saturday Night Live fans will be lining up to meet him. Any questions?

Throughout the night, David S. Pumpkins will be on hand for special meet and greets. While he might not be answering any questions from his legions of fans, the photo op might be one of the most coveted snaps of the evening.

For those unfamiliar with this classic character, it started as a SNL skit with Tom Hanks. Whether it was the dancing skeletons or just the mystique with his humorous spookiness, people are infatuated with the character. Maybe someone will be bold enough to wear a matching suit to meet him at HHN.

In addition to David S. Pumpkins, characters from The Purge: Anarchy will be on hand. Hopefully, no one has to plot and connive to survive the night with these individuals.

As guests wait for that photo op, the bartenders will be shaking up themed cocktails. Although the exact cocktail list has yet to be revealed, the hope is that one or two of the offerings will be unique to this particular experience. Maybe someone will be shaking up a pumpkin old fashioned or even a purge punch.

Since many people visit HHN year after year and even go multiple times during a seasonal run, the addition of Peacock’s Halloween Horror Bar adds a new immersive, interactive experience that makes even visit unique. Another theme park has offered this type of cocktail vibe offering and it was well received.

The immersive style bar allows guests to have a moment to break from the frights around every corner. Although some people duck into the Wizarding World to escape the chainsaws and screams, some guests like to break up their frights throughout the evening. Whether it is a pumpkin beer or a spirited libation, those few moments to talk about all the easter eggs that might have been missed in the Stranger Things house might be one of the highlights of the evening.

In addition, it provides another photo op for guests to share. Scrolling through social media not only brings excitement for people recalling their visit but it entices others who cannot wait to step into that immersive Halloween experience.

Lastly, utilizing the David S. Pumpkins character shows that not every Halloween experience has to be extreme, spine chilling or even frightening. That good laugh along the way is just as important as the jump scare. Who hasn’t been drawn into the Chucky Good Guy World because of the humor.

The HHN Orlando Peacock’s Halloween Horror Bar will be part of the event, which starts Friday, September 1 and runs through November 4, 2023. More information on tickets, packages, and other items can be found online.
