While Gordon Ramsay has many food television shows on FOX, the MasterChef Hell’s Kitchen episode has everyone talking. With six chefs ready to head to the red and blue kitchens, they better be prepared for the pressure of this restaurant takeover.

According to FOX, “Restaurant Takeover – Hell’s Kitchen” episode has the top six chefs “taking over the world’s largest Hell’s Kitchen restaurant.” While there are many of these themed restaurants around the world, it seems that this episode was shot at the Harrah’s Resort SoCal, which features a restaurant, bar, and lounge.

Dropping the top six chefs into this restaurant takeover will definitely test their abilities. Working the line is far different than a mystery box or theme challenge. Even though they have worked as a group and even tackled “The Wall,” the reality is that this scenario is unlike anything they have experienced. Not only will it require calm nerves but also well executed precision.

In some ways, it will be the team dynamics that will determine whether the red or blue kitchen will earn safety. Just like Hell’s Kitchen, the unit must be a well-oiled machine in order to get all those tickets fulfilled.

FOX viewers should expect to see some of the signature Hell’s Kitchen dishes in this episode. From scallops to salmon, some of the favorite food choices should be on the plate. Whether or not the chefs have to attempt that Beef Wellington remains to be seen.

Although the judges, Gordon Ramsay, Aaron Sanchez, and Joe Bastianich, have not minced words in MasterChef Season 13, but no one has experienced the fury that is Ramsay on Hell’s Kitchen. Hopefully no one is called a donut or idiot sandwich on this episode.

Looking at the top six, it can be hard to determine some front runners. Although Wayne has done well in recent challenges, the swing from top to bottom has been wild for the chefs. Some people thought that Grant was a big threat, but he has had mis-steps. Even Reagan did not execute a dish that was in her wheelhouse in the grilling challenge. It goes to show that nothing is certain in the MasterChef competition.

The MasterChef Hell’s Kitchen episode airs on FOX, Wednesday September 13 at 8 p.m. It is immediately followed by the Semi-Finals episode at 9 p.m. Episodes can be aired the next day on Hulu.
