World’s Largest Charcuterie Board wowed crowds with an epic meat display

While many people love their food boards, the size adapts to the crowd. From a romantic plate for two to a larger spread for the football tailgate, the reality is that the board can usually be easily carried from the kitchen to the table. With the World’s Largest Charcuterie Board, the gigantic meat display can feed a huge crowd.

Guinness World Record food displays get people talking. Categories vary greatly. Some restaurants earn titles for the most expensive sundae or burger. Other locales obtain glory for gigantic food or being able to serve a huge amount of people. Under the careful eye of the Guinness committee, these food feats must qualify under the specific terms.

On October 4, Columbus Craft Meats and Boarderie attempted to achieve the World’s Largest Charcuterie Board title in West Palm Beach, Florida. The attempt has been certified and they achieved the title.

The special charcuterie board weighed over 1,000 pounds. 300 of those pounds were Columbus Craft Meats, premium cured meats. The number one Italian deli brand was showcased in this gigantic food display.

As seen in the pictures, the display was more than just a big pile of salami. The board featured a variety of carefully crafted sections that showcased how pretty and intricate a charcuterie display can be. It deserves kudos not just for its size but also for its presentation.

While the Columbus Craft Meats provided some of the food, Boarderie created the display. Featured on Shark Tank, Oprah’s Favorite Things and other publications, the company ships pre-arranged cheese and charcuterie boards. Even though creating a board can be as simple as following the numbers, this brand simplifies the process event more.

As seen in the photos, the patterns and segments are quite impressive both from a distance and up close. Maybe it could inspire some people’s creations for their next board offering.

While Columbus Craft Meats and Boarderie earned the World’s Largest Charcuterie Board, Wisconsin Cheese holds the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Cheese Board. Earned during SXSW in 2018, the food display was 35 feet long and 7 feet wide. The custom-made board held 4,437 pounds and 145 different varieties of cheese. Even though the recent Cheese Ball held during Wisconsin Cheese’s Art of Cheese had epic displays of over 100 artisan cheeses, this record will not be overtaken any time soon.
