Nestled into Mexico’s Rivera Maya region, Hotel Xcaret Mexico prepares to open its largest resort expansion. The new era of family inclusive, culturally immersive luxury makes the popular destination a must visit.

While many travelers visit Xcaret Parks for Mexican culture, adventure, and immersive experiences, the brand’s resorts transport guests into the epitome of luxury. Each of the three properties, Hotel Xcaret Mexico, Hotel Xcaret Arte, and La Casa de La Playa have their unique approach in conveying the Mexican history and culture.

Given the resorts’ popularity, the company has initiated a large-scale expansion of Hotel Xcaret Mexico, the original resort of the trio. Set to open in 2025, the additional space will include 1,800 rooms, restaurants, pools, and entertainment.

According to Lizeth Álvarez Gorosave, Chief Commercial Officer at Grupo Xcaret, “At Hotel Xcaret Mexico, we believe true luxury is best experienced with family, and our 2025 new era is designed to create unforgettable moments that transcend generations. We want every family member, from the youngest to the eldest, to find a space they can enjoy together and build lasting memories. This new era not only reinforces our commitment to the highest standards of excellence but also reaffirms our dedication to creating unique, unforgettable moments in a truly unique setting.”

The expansion will focus on new “casas,” which will be focused on various age-demographics. Similar to the concept employed at Hotel Xcaret Arte, each casa will offer various activities that would appeal to the specific guests. The idea is to create once in a lifetime experiences that will be remembered long after the guests return home.

Additionally, Grupo Xcaret appreciates that food and beverages are an integral part of the overall guest experience. With Ha earning a Michelin Star earlier this year, Chef Carlos Gaytan’s restaurant will continue to be a highlight. Also, a concept from Michelin Star Chef Paco Mendez will bring his interpretation of Mexican gastronomy to the resort expansion.

Joining the numerous dining experiences will be a new adults-only rooftop restaurant and speakeasy. In total, there will be twenty signature dining experiences, which ensures every food preference is satisfied.

While the experiences surprise and delight guests, it is Grupo Xcaret's commitment to sustainability and environmental preservation that ensures Mexico’s rich cultural heritage and landscape will be available for guests to enjoy for years to come. There is always an appreciation to the history woven into today’s current culture, but it needs the commitment to preserve the land for everyone’s future.

For traveler who is looking for the epitome of refined luxury in a family inclusive setting, Hotel Xcaret Mexico is that resort. The resort expansion is set to open in Summer 2025.
