From sunny Miami Beach to the Aspen’s heights, food festivals delight food enthusiasts. The promise of seeing their favorite celebrity chef and eat the food that has filled their dreams turns these events into highly coveted tickets. At ChainFEST, the concept is more than creative interpretations of nostalgia food. It serves fun on every plate.

When the CHAIN concept first arrived, people craved the somewhat kitschy nature of the idea. Could that personal pan pizza that kids so proudly earned by reading those grade school books really become an elevated bite? Maybe that chalupa is more than a midnight craving.

ChainFEST is having two festivals, one in New York City and another in Los Angeles. The big events have become highly sought after tickets. While some options might be a little pricey for the normal person, people crave this unique concept. Instead of tiny plates with tweezer food, this idea is about turning a food memory into a new reality.

For the person who remembers back to school shopping and a Hot Dog on a Stick to those late night study sessions with Panda Express, the memory flavors the dish. In one bite, all those thoughts, feelings, and conversations come flooding back.

To be clear, these dishes are not the takeout containers from years’ past. The chef-driven interpretations are elevated yet never lose the essence of the concept.

Tim Hollingsworth, one of the founders of CHAIN, has been celebrating this idea of high/low cuisine throughout his career. Food lovers can remember that fennel pollen funnel cake from Opium. With ChainFest, the concept is delivered on a much larger scale.

From the first every Chuck E. Cheese pop-up to the sweetness of Krispy Kreme, there is a little taste of everything for everyone one. Ready to take a bite of new-stalgia food?
