It is always a treat when Hershey’s candy hits the Halloween bag. Whether it is the classic chocolate bar or the always delicious Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, the sweet delicious turns the spooky night into a sweet surprise. For the 2024 Halloween season, the new Hershey’s candies are all about ghosts. Better hurry to grab some bags before they disappear from the shelf.

Hershey’s understands that there is a place for both favorite candies and flavor innovations. In some ways, those specialty offerings brings excitement back to the candy that forever holds a place in our hearts.

Over the years, the Halloween offerings have been both spooky and sweet. From cookies and cream bars to Frankencups to even pumpkin pie, people happily scooped up one of those new food items alongside the classics.

As Heather Seamans, Senior Manager Fall Marketing at The Hershey Company said, "Hershey has long been a leader in Halloween festivities, offering beloved treats that have become synonymous with the season. This year, with Kit Kat® Ghost Toast and Reese's Werewolf Tracks, we're showcasing our commitment to innovation and fun with bold, exciting Halloween flavors, inviting consumers to choose both!"

For the 2024 Halloween season, Hershey’s released four new candy offerings. They are Kit Kat Ghost Toast, Reese’s Werewolf Tracks, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Harry Potter Bar Snack Sized, and Twizzlers Ghosts. Each one will be available for a limited time, while supplies last.

Taking flavor inspiration from cinnamon toast (or maybe even that infamous cereal milk), the seasonal Kit Kat features a new cinnamon toast flavored crème. Sandwiched between those crispy wafers, the flavor is sweet but a little warm and spicy.

Even though some people might think that a ghost treat could be eco-colored or maybe even apple flavored, the cinnamon toast choice is smart for Kit Kat. It appeals to young and old. More importantly, it leans into the versatility that Kit Kat is known to offer. From topping a cake to being folded into ice cream, there are plenty of ways to break into that Kit Kat bar.

Reese’s Werewolf Trackers are an interesting choice for the classic peanut butter cup. While there were Frankencups previously, the vanilla-flavored crème will make this candy sweet. Whether or not everyone is howling at the moon over this combination remains to be seen. But, no one is ever sorry to enjoy a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup.

The most interesting new candy is definitely the Twizzlers Ghosts. It is the first time that the candy brand has offered a Halloween shape. Given that Twizzlers is always about bringing that smile to snack time, these ghosts are more fun than scary. It will be interesting to see how people use them as part of their food-scapes.

Lastly, the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Harry Potter Bar Snack Size will sell out quickly. Given that it is back to Hogwarts season right now, it is the perfect time to buy an extra bag. It might not turn a muggle into a magician, but the flavor is always magical.

The new Hershey’s Halloween candies will be arriving on store shelves. Check with retails for availability and pricing. Just like the ghosts and ghouls on Halloween, they will disappear before you know it.
