A new food challenge is brewing for the home cooks. In this MasterChef Generations episode 10 exclusive clip, the home cooks crack open a Blue Moon beer to flavor their dishes. With former MasterChef winner Grant Gillon joining the judges, his keen palate is ready to critique those beer infused creations. Which cook will be raising a pint to a job well done?

In the recent challenges, the divide between top cooks and faltering cooks has widened. Even though everyone earned an apron to represent their generation, the reality is that some cooks are more adept at handling these challenges. Others might not be able to hide behind group immunity much longer.

For this episode, the MasterChef cooks take on a fun concept, cooking with Blue Moon beer. While many people happily pair that Belgian Wit with a variety of foods, highlighting that citrus wheat flavor in a dish takes a deft hand.

According to FOX, the MasterChef Season 14 episode 10, “Beer Necessities” features the following:

"The chefs must incorporate the iconic beer, Blue Moon, into their dishes and ensure that the bright flavors are at the forefront of their creations. With some chefs having more familiarity with the beverage than others, it’s the ultimate battle to see who can execute the most impressive dish. Then, the winner from last week’s challenge can pick a chef from any other generation to also gain immunity from this week's challenge."

MasterChef Generations graciously provided this exclusive clip from the episode to FoodSided.

As seen in this clip, Adam from Team Gen Z is incorporating beer into almost every part of the dish. In some ways this concept ensures that the beer flavor comes through in every component.

Baking a beer bread is quite ambitious for this challenge. If he can pull off every element, it will be an impressive dish.

Additionally, it is smart to bring MasterChef Season 13 winner Grant to this Blue Moon focused challenge. Many food television fans will remember that his winning three-course meal featured beer in two dishes. The talented chef knows how to infuse that beer flavor in a wide array of dishes.

Lastly, this MasterChef Generations challenge serves as inspiration for many home cooks. From the simple beer battered fish to maybe that using that Blue Moon Light Sky in a vinaigrette, there are plenty of ways to use and sip on that beer.

Plus, there is a Blue Moon and MasterChef partnership that has recipes and special giveaways that allow fans to bring a taste of this challenge into the home kitchen. The only thing missing is some fiery retorts from Gordon Ramsay.

Which home cook will be sipping on a cold one from the balcony and basking in their safety? Be sure to watch the new episode on August 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX. Episodes can be streamed the next day on Hulu.
