Having the Big Game in Las Vegas has been an over the top, energetic, and experience unlike previous years. Although many people might recall the phrase what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, this year that concept is taking a different direction. Puka Nacua has opened the Pepsi Big Game Vault for anyone who wants to leave that deep, dark secret behind.

The promotions during the Big Game bring together some of the NFL best players and food brands that people love. When two fandoms collide, that moment lasts far longer than that meal at Tost by Tostitos or the 10 frames of a bowling game.

Ahead of the Pepsi Big Game Vault event, Puka Nacua spoke to FoodSided about the special event, his impressive NFL rookie season, and his preferred Pepsi beverage. While anyone who writes that secret in invisible ink could win some great prizes, the event is a little more than just the potential win. In some ways, it might be a little cathartic to reveal those nagging thoughts.

When asked what he thinks people will reveal, Nacua said, “I think a lot of it might have to deal with what happens here in Las Vegas. It wouldn't surprise me if maybe somebody told their kids that they came for a work convention and then they ended up at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.”

Secrets can cover all topics. From something that a person would never tell grandma to a tip that put them on the path to almost winning the NFL Rookie of the Year. Nacua shared that part of the secret to his success is “focus on one day at a time. Focus on that 24 hours you have ahead of you and enjoy that moment at your feet, you will be in the best place that you can be.”

While this season has been huge for the NFL rookie, he is soaking in all the opportunities available to him. Even during the lead up to the Big Game, he was thrilled to run into NFL greats. In some ways, it is almost as if he is having a fan moment, himself.

Given that this season has seen more fan interaction, Nacua appreciates that the excitement is good for everyone. Nacua said, “it is super fun to run into everyone and see them smile. I am grateful for the support of my family, my girlfriend, and especially the fans who have been with us throughout the season. I love all the support that we get from the fans and interacting with them. I am truly blessed.”

While everyone might be locking away that story about swapping the store bought cookies for homemade ones at the bake sale or ruining your husband’s lucky football jersey and blaming it on the dog, Pepsi will help get those nagging thoughts off your chest. Sometimes the secret needs to be revealed.

When all the dirty work is done, enjoy some refreshment. Nacua prefers Pepsi Wild Cherry. It is his favorite beverage when he is gaming. Whether it is enjoyed in Las Vegas or at home, allowing that wild side to show is always a good thing.

The Sip City Secrets at Pepsi Big Game Vault event will be held on Saturday, February 10 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. PT at the Grand Bazaar Shop on the Las Vegas Strip.
