As the athletes prepare for the closing ceremony, the games produced a wide array of tremendous athletic moments, some heartwarming stories, and some humorous pop culture moments. With all the comings and goings through the City of Lights, the Uber Paris Olympics edition uncovered some curious facts. From food deliveries to items left behind, this Gold Medal edition of the Uber revelations will have some people shaking their heads.

Every year, Uber reveals its lost and found list. The items left behind are curious, humorous, and sometimes dumbfounding. During the Olympics, two events had people questioning, what the heck.

According to Uber, one Judo competitor left behind their uniform. While it was rightfully returned, it could have been a big issue. Naked Judo is definitely not a sport that anyone wants to see.

More concerning was that two Gold Medal winning athletes left behind their boxes, certificates, and unique pins. While all items are back to the rightful owners, it might have made for a nail biting experience. Luckily, the Uber drivers earned their spot on the podium with the return.

What were the most popular food orders on the Uber Paris Olympics edition list?

Although there have been varying reports on the Athlete Village’s dining experience, it seems that Uber food delivery helped satisfy some of those athletes cravings. According to the report, the most popular grocery item was bananas. That item seems on par for those competing.

Additionally, there were many orders for Eau Cristaline 1.5L. Hydration is key for anyone, not just athletes. It has been hot, not just rainy, in Paris.

Lastly, it seems that frites, aka French fries, were the most popular side order. It is unclear if mayonnaise or ketchup was served with those perfect potatoes. And, that side order does seem to play into an order that athletes crave. Potatoes have a lot of potassium. It might be a good recovery food.

As the flame is set to be passed to Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympics, only time will tell what that future Uber list will hold. Hopefully, no one leaves the torch behind.
