Waterloo Sparkling Water gets juicy with its new fall flavor
Fall flavors do not have to be limited to just the pumpkin patch. With its newest sparkling water offering, Waterloo’s Pomegranate Acai brings a juicy, satisfying taste that offers the versatility people crave.
While there are many sparkling water brands on the shelf, Waterloo Sparkling Water has excelled thanks to its commitment to clean, crisp flavors. The time and effort that the team puts into making their beverages taste like the food is vital to the brand’s success.
Part of the brand’s fall line-up is the new Waterloo’s Pomegranate Acai. While pumpkin might be the talk of the season, pomegranate is the more versatile “p” food. From beverages to sweet dishes to savory recipes, the juicy fruit can do it all.
By combining the Pomegranate with Acai, the earthy qualities help to create some complexity. Without overpowering the juiciness, each element comes through in the most enjoyable way.
Given the flavor’s versatility, it is delightful on its own, in a mocktail or even as an enhancer in a cocktail. For example, Waterloo Sparkling Water shared this mocktail, a take on a Negroni, that is perfect to kick off the fall season. And, it can be made both as a mocktail and a cocktail.
Here’s how to make a Herbal Pom Acai No-Groni
Ingredients:
3 oz Waterloo Pomegranate Açaí Sparkling Water
2 oz Cranberry Botanical Elixir* (worth the extra effort!)
1 oz Herbed Earl Grey Tonic** (same here-you got this!)
1/8 tsp Aromatic Bitters (~7 dashes)
Orange Peel
Dried Orange Slice
Thyme Sprig
Bay Leaf
Directions:
At least 1 day in advance, make cranberry botanical elixir and herbed earl grey tonic. On a small plate add orange zest and mix with granulated sweetener or sugar. Dip a short rocks glass in a shallow dish of water or juice to wet the rim, then to the plate of zest-sweetener. In a mixing glass add Waterloo Pomegranate Açaí, cranberry botanical elixir, herbed earl grey tonic, aromatic bitters with an orange peel and swirl to combine. Place a large ice cube in the rimmed glass and pour in mixture. Garnish with dried orange slice, sprig of thyme and bay leaf.
Mixologist Tip: Add 1 oz gin.
Waterloo Sparkling Water brings back a fall seasonal favorite
While the new Pomegranate Acai might be getting all the attention, Waterloo’s Spice Apple is back for the fall season. This particular sparkling water captures the essence of an apple cider but is lighter than the traditional juice beverage.
With warm spices, a hint of sweetness, and a crisp apple note, Waterloo’s Spice Apple is delightful as a effervescent boost to any mocktail or cocktail. Whether it is a splash in an Old Fashioned or even a floater on an Apple Cider Margarita, the possibilities are many.
Waterloo suggests a Spiced Apple Ginger Fizz and here’s how to make one.
