Many people appreciate the simplicity of a Topo Chico served with a favorite spirit. Whether it is called Ranch Water or just simple refreshment, that iconic mineral water amplifies the enjoyment of the beverage. With the new Topo Chico Hard Margarita, an elevated tropical cocktail requires minimal effort and the flavor impresses.
Ready to drink alcoholic beverages have taken over the conversation. While people appreciate the intricacies and the creativity that a master mixologist offers, those impressive cocktails are not always feasible from the home bar. Beverage brands have taken notice. The newest RTDs take inspiration from that elevated experience and make it approachable for everyone to enjoy whenever the thirst hits.
When Topo Chico launched its hard seltzer line, many people ran to get that first sip. Capturing the crisp, refreshing taste of that mineral water was clear. More importantly, the fruit forward flavors were innovative and delicious.
That same mentality has come to the Topo Chico Hard Margarita line. Even before the can is opened, the flavors are far from typical. These offerings sound like the cocktail list from a favorite Mexican resort.
Elizabeth Hitch, Vice President, Marketing, Above Premium Flavor at Molson Coors Beverage Company explained, “Topo Chico Hard is known for delivering refreshment, whether it's a hot day or with your favorite meal. We're always looking for ways to give fans something new, and this sentiment rings true with our new full-flavored margarita flavored alcohol beverage offerings. Topo Chico Hard's Margarita FAB Variety Pack and Margarita MAX FAB are our latest takes on a classic cocktail, and are made with real lime juice, full flavor, and the crisp taste from added minerals that the brand is known for.”

The Topo Chico Hard Margarita line includes: Prickly Pear Margarita, Tropical Pineapple Margarita, Signature Margarita, and Strawberry Hibiscus Margarita. While there are some other RTDs on the market, these flavors set the brand apart.
First, the Signature Margarita is bright and zesty. It hits just the right balance of sweet and sour. For the person who wants refreshing margarita without breaking out the cocktail shaker, this RTD option should be stocked in the refrigerator.
For a fun party vibe, the Strawberry Hibiscus Margarita is the standout. The strawberry brings the sweet juiciness, but the hibiscus adds a floral note that is intriguing. Just like a sour cocktail needs both the sweet and the tart, this margarita finds that delightful ying and yang.
With this flavor, consider making a statement when serving it, like with some sugared strawberries as a garnish. Although a hibiscus flower might not necessarily be possible, a fun glass with flowers on it would be amazing. Presentation can make the whole experience even more satisfying.
The Tropical Pineapple Margarita is a sweet option that works well with some spicy notes. From a simple Tajin rimmed glass to a grilled pineapple with spicy salt garnish, the options are many. Given that pineapple is having a moment this summer, a margarita version is a fun way to jump on the trend.
Lastly, the Prickly Pear Margarita is the most creative option. While this flavor is popular in many cocktail bars, few RTDs would be willing to tackle this flavor. Topo Chico delivered on the flavor and it will be the one that needs to be hidden in the back so that no one else drinks it. Maybe for the next round, this flavor will be available as a single serve.
