To keep theme park guests coming back time and again, theme parks needs to find engaging ways to keep guests interested. While the rides may be the adrenaline pumping draw, the whole experience builds park loyalty. BBLz, the new immersive beverage experience at Hersheypark, delights guests with a fun, sweet experience.

BBLz is a beverage restaurant at Hersheypark. But, this place isn’t the old fashion soda jerk from the 50s. These drinks have a modern twist. Collaborating with Pepsi-Cola, these sweet, bubble-tastic beverages add a sense of whimsy to the drinks.

Looking like a Willy Wonka creation, BubbleMakers personally make each of these fantastical beverages. Served in globes, the drinks are part drink, part sugary dessert. The flavor combinations are far from boring. Blending drinks like Pepsi and Mountain Dew with Hershey candies, like Reese’s Pieces and Twizzlers, the beverages are confectionary genius.

BBLz serves seven of these crazy concoctions. The some of the drinks are based on classic flavors like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. That drink using a grape flavored soda with peanut butter candies. Basically, these drinks are a modern twist on a dessert. Other flavors include an ice cream sundae inspired drink and a key lime pie drink.

But the drinks alone aren’t the only draw, BBLz is about the experience. The restaurant is filled with music to reflect a happy, party atmosphere. With bubbles all around, it is reminiscent of the bubble room in the Willy Wonka movie, just without the flying. Of course, the whole area has smells like a candy shop, which can make anyone’s mouth salivate.

Crazy, over the top beverages aren’t a new concept. For example, Sugar Factory, with several locations, has huge goblet drinks that are laden with candy. These types of drinks are great exposure for brands. The Instagram-worthy drinks make for good publicity. More importantly, those social media moments add to the memorable experience. The conversation continues long after the glass is empty.

BBLz is located in Hersheypark. It is unclear if other locations will open outside of the theme park or if this location will be unique to Hersheypark. But, if you want to try these over the top sweet beverages, better get to Pennsylvania. Just don’t drink one and then ride a roller coaster.
