First, Rocky Mountain Oysters are bull’s balls. Some people eat this food as a challenge. Others can find the food a delicacy. For many chefs, cooking with offal isn’t a huge deal. Many viewers will probably say ewww.

Sure, Bravo is using this challenge to make for a television moment. Most likely, these chefs don’t normally cook with Rocky Mountain Oysters. At this point in the competition, the chefs should be able to cook anything. As long as Carrie doesn’t make Rocky Mountain Oyster toast, the Quickfire should be at least creative (and entertaining).

The Elimination Challenge should prove more memorable. If the chefs are truly cooking for family (or friends), the emotion should be felt on the plate. When a person cooks from the heart, the meal, any meal, is always more meaningful. While emotions can make the challenge harder, the food should be more personal.
With the four chefs remaining, it is hard to determine who has an advantage in Top Chef Season 15 episode 12. While all of the chefs have had disappointments, no one has forged a huge lead. It could any of the four remaining chefs who earn the title.
