At The Langham, Chicago, this year’s Mother’s Day celebration is awash in pretty pinks. Don’t let the subtle color fool you. This year’s brunch extravaganza is an over the top food celebration for mom. From a plentiful seafood station, featuring King Crab, to a craving station, featuring a sous vide Tomahawk Rib Eye Steaks, this brunch event is luxurious eating at its finest.

Shore Club’s Mother’s Day brunch is $45 for adults and children under 12 are $18. Cocktail specials are additional.

Dad isn’t the only one who enjoys fire-grilled meat. At River Roast, the Mother’s Day Chef Table will feature three-hand carved roasts for the celebration. Striploin, chicken and whole salmon gives mom a taste of everything. One side must try side is the carrots & dirt, carrots with goat cheese, pumpernickel and balsamic. This side pairs well with all the hand-carved meats.

Let this Mother’s Day be flavorful journey to Spain at El Tapeo Modern Spanish Kitchen. With a glass of complimentary glass of sangria, the food journey features bold yet classic choices. The menu will feature seasonal offerings including “white asparagus with half dozen quail eggs, charred ramps and truffle mornay” and a lump crab and leek frittata. Each mom will be receive a “complimentary glass of rosé and box of truffles.”

Who doesn’t know Blanche, Rose, Dorothy and Sophia? This year, Split-Rail is offering a Golden Girls-themed brunch for the Mother’s Day celebration. While the view from the Chicago Athletic Club’s rooftop restaurant, Cindy’s is impressive, the Mother’s Day specials are quite decadent.. Highlights from the celebratory menu include Island Creek Sterling Caviar in several dishes. From ramp blinis to farm egg mimosa, these dishes are both luxurious and seasonal. The Farm Egg Omelette with Sterling Caviar is a showstopper.
