Best Baker in America Season 2 episode 2 live stream: Watch online
After showcasing mind bending vanilla cakes, this week’s Best Baker in America Season 2 episode 2 has the bakers creating wedding croquembouche.
The title Best Baker in America requires skill, technique and knowledge. In Best Baker in America Season 2 episode 2, the bakers must combine all those attributes in this week’s challenges. Will one baker crumble under all the pressure?
According to the Food Network, this week’s episode, “Wedding Spectacular” features the following synopsis.
"The remaining eight bakers are charged with making perfect wedding-themed mini mousse cakes in the Skills Challenge. In the Master Challenge, the bakers must create a croquembouche-inspired wedding tower that includes two types of pastry and uses champagne as the featured flavor. Pastry chef and dessert wizard Zac Young joins Marcela Valladolid and Jason Smith to judge the final round and send one baker packing."

While this week’s challenges have a wedding theme, the bakers should be happy that they don’t have to create a wedding cake. After last week’s mind bending vanilla cakes, it would be difficult to create another decorative, multi-tier cake again. Still, this week’s challenge might be more difficult that last week’s cakes.

The mini mousse cakes may not be too difficult. The wedding theme seems quite broad. Most of these bakers should be able to create a mini mousse cake rather easily. The time frame or a required ingredient might cause a few hiccups.
The croquembouche is huge challenge. Adding the requirement of two pastries and champagne flavor could cause the bakers to panic. The champagne requirement could be difficult. The baker who can highlight the champagne with finesse could be the baker to win this week’s Master Challenge.
Although a potential favorite has yet to emerge, this week’s challenges could start to separate the top bakers. These challenges require a lot of skill and knowledge. Can the specialty bakers make it to next week?
