Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours To Hell And Back: Brownstone Bistro
On this week’s Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back, the LA restaurant Brownstone Bistro gets a makeover.
Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back takes over the Brownstone Bistro. This Los Angeles restaurant has an issue with service. Can poor service drive away guests before they even walk in the door? Hopefully, with Ramsay’s help, the restaurant can get back on its feet.
According to FOX, this week’s episode featuring Brownstone Bistro focuses on the following.
"Gordon and his team make renovations and create a fresh new menu for a Cajun fusion restaurant in Los Angeles in an attempt to revive it."

When it comes to a successful restaurant, food is only part of the winning formula. Running a great restaurant requires both the front of the house and the back of the house to work together seamlessly. If the service is poor, no one cares if the food is amazing.

Looking at a few clips from this week’s episode, the service is extremely bad at this restaurant. How long have you waited for a meal? A 75 minute wait is extreme. In most cases, that timeframe represents the entire meal.
Personally, if I was waiting more than 10 minutes for my server to greet me, I would leave. Of course, a slammed restaurant can and will experience delays, but a simple stop by isn’t too much to ask.
Timely service isn’t just good for the guests. Turning tables efficiently is important for a restaurant. If a restaurant can’t serve an adequate amount of guests per night, it won’t make a profit. Then again, poor service won’t keep a restaurant packed, so it’s a bad cycle.
Can Gordon Ramsay turn morale around in this restaurant before it goes under? Since the LA restaurant appears to be still open, it looks as if the makeover was successful. Have you eaten at the Brownstone Bistro?
