National Chicken Wing Day deals are a great way to celebrate the holiday on July 29. While people can debate their preferred wing style, spice level and preferred dipping sauce, everyone agrees that chicken wings are tasty. Luckily some of favorite wing restaurants are offering some great deals for the food holiday.
In a recent GrubHub survey, the company asked its customers which chicken wing style reigns supreme, boneless or traditional (a.k.a. bone-in). In an overwhelming consensus, consumers prefer the traditional, bone-in variety 5 to 1.

This finding is interesting on two levels. First, everyone can agree that boneless wings are less messy to eat. It is less likely that you need wet naps to get your messy fingers clean after eating boneless wings. Sometimes the breading can be a little much, but this version is definitely easier to eat.
The preference for traditional (a.k.a bone-in) wings could be a flavor preference. Those bones can help enhance the flavor. Some capturing smoke to enhancing the marinade, that traditional wing often offers a big punch of flavor.

In honor of National Chicken Wing Day, Hooters, the famous chicken wing restaurant, will be serving up tons of their delicious wings. Hooters offers six wing varieties on its menu. Smoked, Naked, Bacon wrapped, original, Daytona Beach-style and boneless are choices on the menu. Add to that diverse menu, 17 sauces and multiple dry rubs, guests can have a different wing combination every day for almost a month.
Specifically on July 29, the actual chicken wing holiday, guests at Hooters will receive 10 free boneless wings with the purchase of 10 wings (at participating locations). What flavor would you choose for your free wings? I prefer Texas BBQ.
Other restaurants are joining the food holiday celebration. Buffalo Wild Wings will offer a few snack-sized wing order with the purchase of small, medium or large wing order. This offer is available on July 29 and is just for dine-in orders.
For chicken wing fans that live in Chicago, the infamous Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap is celebrating the food holiday. On July 29, the restaurant will offer half-off its famous wings from 11 a.m. till 3 p.m. for dine-in orders only. Guests can try July’s special wings, the Cherry Bomb BBQ Wings. These wings are made with a house made cherry BBQ sauce. For those who can’t handle the insanely spicy wings, this perfectly summer flavor a perfect choice.
