What is a Head Breakfast Coach? Who didn’t hear the old adage that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? As one of college football’s most legendary coaches, Urban Meyer has been named Bob Evans inaugural Head Breakfast Coach. Are you ready to fuel up for life’s hard work?

Recently, Bob Evans announced this partnership. Bringing together the well-known Ohio coach and the family dining restaurant seemed like a winning combination. Bob Evans wants to highlight its farm fresh, quality and hearty breakfast foods. By using Meyer, the brand hopes to leverage the idea that a winning day starts with a winning breakfast.

Specifically, the partnership launches with the new menu item, the Everything Breakfast. Like the name sounds, this breakfast has everything that can get a person fueled for a winning day. Definitely a hearty choice, the Everything Breakfast includes “includes three scrambled eggs, Bob Evans fresh sausage, hickory smoked ham, hardwood smoked bacon, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, hollandaise and scallions on a bed of hash browns and served with their new griddled biscuit.”

Looking at the Everything Breakfast, it is definitely a menu item for a hearty appetite. While I don’t specifically know the calorie count, it isn’t the under 250 calories category. If you think about an athlete or someone who needs a hearty breakfast, this menu option is a good choice. The combination of flavors is strong. Also, it is balanced with both carbs and protein. Sure, the normal person should probably make sure that she hits her 10,000 steps that day, but it does sound quite yummy.

This partnership will continue to grow throughout the year. Later in the year, Meyer and Bob Evans will team up to launch “Bowl Season.” The first Biscuit Bowl is coming. While specific details weren’t released on Biscuit Bowl, it does sound like an intriguing concept.
