Ready to toast Disney? The new Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar is just one example of all the new beverage offerings at this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival.

Bubbles make a celebration festive. The new Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar at this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival is one of the 70 new beverage options. Will you start your festival experience with a shimmering mimosa?

The annual Epcot Food and Wine Festival is always a popular event at Walt Disney World. After celebrating 23 years, the Disney festival finds a way to add new and exciting choices to keep the event fresh. From focusing on food trends to engaging food experiences, this annual event is always well attended.

This year the festival center looks like it is going to be beverage central. The Shimmering Sips Mimosa Bar could quickly become a must stop location. While it is unclear if the bubbly cocktails will be shiny or shimmering, bubbles always make an event even more festive.

Last year’s Light Lab was a huge hit (and is returning), but this new spot could be even bigger. If there are some special offerings, like the pink sparkling wines with Disney themed toppers, I think that this location will become a big Instagram spot.

Additionally, craft beers will be highlighted during the festival. The Florida craft beer scene is quite hot. Epcot does a great job of highlighting local beers at its special events. It will be interesting to see which craft beers are offered and how these craft beers are paired.

The Festival Center isn’t the only place that will offer new beverage offerings. The festival will feature a total of “70 new non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, wines and beers, including 7 festival-exclusive brews.” With so many options on the menu, it is impossible to sample them all in just a single visit, or even a weekend.

One new beverage that looks quite tempting is the Guinness Baileys Shake. While Epcot has a variety of frozen, alcohol infused beverages, this combination should be quite refreshing on a hot, Florida day. It will be interesting to see which flavors are the ice cream and which ones are the liquid. A Guinness ice cream with Baileys sounds like a plausible combination.

The annual Epcot Food and Wine Festival begins on August 30 and runs for 75 days. The festival itself is included with admission, but tastings, special seminars and food events have an additional fee.
