This holiday season is going to be bright. ALDI Advent calendars will be hitting store shelves to the delight of wine and cheese fans.
Your holiday wish is coming true. ALDI Advent calendars are coming to the U.S. this year. After enviously pinning away for the British version, the U.S. will be able to partake in this holiday greatness. Are you ready for 24 days of wine and cheese delight?
According to ALDI, the Advent calendars will come in two varieties. The wine calendar will consist of 24 mini bottles of wine. The types include red, white, rose and even some bubbles. While the exact wines were not specified, various regions like Malbec, Pinot Grigio and a red blend are expected.
The wine Advent calendar will retail for $69.99. It will go on sale November 7 and will be available while supplies last.

These two Advent calendars will definitely be a huge hit. People should check with their local ALDI to see if it will offer the exclusive ALDI offerings. It seems highly likely that these offerings will sell out quickly.
If you are lucky enough to get one of these Advent calendars, it doesn’t mean that you have to eat and drink every day in anticipation of Christmas Day. Just because a little door unveils a new wine or cheese, you can save up these treats for a bigger celebration.
A fun idea could be to save a few wines and cheeses for Sunday. Then, you could have a smorgasbord of wine and cheese fun. Figuring out which wines and cheese pair well could be a fun tasting event.
Given that these treats are smaller, the calendar won’t have enough goodies to host a huge holiday party. It could be a fun hostess gift or holiday gift. But, you will have to think ahead. These calendars are likely to sell out quickly. Don’t expect to find them by Thanksgiving, since they are likely to be long gone.
