DASANI Sparkling adding some refreshing sparkle to the PGA TOUR
The PGA Tour is getting a little sparkle. With DASANI Sparkling named the official sparkling water, everyone can enjoy a little bubbles with that water hazard.
Need a little sparkling refreshment on the golf course? DASANI Sparkling is now the official sparkling water for the PGA Tour. During this week’s TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, the partnership will make its official debut. With a special commercial to mark the occasion, the partnership highlights the difficulty of water hazards.
The DASANI Sparkling partnership is an extension of The Coca-Cola Company partnership with the PGA Tour. Coca-Cola has been part of the PGA Tour since the 1940s. The legendary Bobby Jones appeared in a Coca-Cola campaign. Over the years, several PGA legends, like Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, were endorsers for the brand.
During this week’s PGA tournament, a new commercial about the PGA partnership will air. Here is the commercial.
This commercial features some of the difficult water hazards of the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. Anyone who has found the water can relate to that frustration when the golf ball disappears. If only a sparkling water filled lake could bring your golf ball back from its perilous fate.

Of course, the partnership goes beyond funny commercials. At this week’s PGA TOUR, the DASANI Sparkling seating sections will be featured at both the 1st tee and the 18th green. These complimentary shaded sections will give golf fans a place to comfortably watch the golf action and a refreshing sample of the Black Cherry flavor to try.
Since this sparkling water doesn’t have to be enjoyed on its own, this tournament stop is shaking up a signature cocktail. The Shamrock cocktail is a combination of fresh lemonade, DASANI Sparkling Black Cherry with GREY GOOSE Cherry Noir. This cocktail sounds like a refreshing sip that is perfect for the 19th hole.
