Burgers battles can be serious business. At Bob’s Burgers Belcher Burger Cook-Off, the burger battle has a little levity with that burger battle. These two dueling burgers are based on the favorite FOX television show, Bob’s Burgers. Which burger will get your vote at New York City Comic Con this year?

Starting on October 4, right outside of the Javits Convention Center, two dueling pop-up food carts will feature burgers based on Bob’s Burgers. One food cart will be Team Bob and the other one will be Team Louise. Each cart will feature these special burgers until they are old out. But, the question remains, will you eat one, two or both.

According to the brand, the two burgers are quite different. While both burgers feature Sir Kensington’s condiments, the flavors are on opposite ends of the flavor spectrum. More importantly, these burgers aren’t your boring, bland burgers.

Like previous Bob’s Burger’s inspired limited burger creations, this event is a collaboration with LA-based chef Alvin Cailan. Earlier this year, Blue Apron launched a Bob’s Burger based menu based on Chef Cailan’s burger recipes. Again, these burgers feature a play on themes from the FOX television show.

The “Team Bob” burger features the burger, “Carrot on My Wayward Bun.” This burger features “Sir Kensington’s mayo infused with blended confit carrots, pickled carrots, jack cheese and greens crafted on a potato bun.” This burger should have a big, bold punch of flavor. With the different carrot presentations, the flavor should be present in every bite.

The “Team Louise” burger is the “Natural Born Diller.” This burger is described as “dill infused Sir Kensington’s mayo, dill pickles, American cheese and sour cream & onion chips piled high on a potato bun.” For pickle fans, this burger definitely delivers the pickle flavor. Overall, this burger tends to be a little more classic flavor.

While I haven’t tried either burger, I would lean towards Team Louise. The combination of textures sounds very satisfying. Personally, I can’t resist a crunchy layer on a burger.

The Belcher Burger Cook-Off will be held each day from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m., or until burgers sell out. The burger costs $8 or a combo, with a French fries and refreshments is $10.50.

If you’re not going to NYCC, don’t worry. Everyone can enjoy the burger cook-off fun. Look for #BelcherBurgerCookOff on social media. And, don’t forget to watch Bob’s Burgers Sundays on FOX at 8:30 p.m.
