Postmates scores a huge win with as the NFL official on-demand food delivery partner.

Whether it is game day nachos, pizza or the best wings, Postmates is making football season even tastier. As the NFL Official on-demand food delivery partner, this partnership is going to be a tasty win for everyone involved.

According to Eric Edge, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Postmates, “People across the country aren’t just ready to order their favorite gameday foods, they are eagerly awaiting the return of football. While most fans won’t be able to physically go to the game, this partnership with the NFL allows us to bring the gameday experience, and a few surprises throughout the season, directly to fans.”

While many football fans have spent countless hours in football stadiums, this year much of the action will be viewed from a screen. Although fans can catch every amazing play and epic win, there is more to being a football fan than just watching the game. Football season is about the experience, and that experience often involves food.

Nana-Yaw Asamoah, Vice President of Business Development for the NFL, said “Fans will be watching NFL football this season from their couch more than ever before, so teaming up with Postmates as the first official on-demand food delivery partner of the NFL was a perfect combination.”

Any football fan understands that the stadium nachos are just as important as the fourth quarter game winning drive. While one might be remembered far longer than the other, food and football are winning partners. Now that this gameday experience is brought into the home, people are looking for ways to make it special.

While this partnership is great for the fans, the two companies are looking to do more than just offer deals and specials. Ahead of the NFL Season kick-off, Postmates and Patrick Mahomes’ foundation, 15 and the Mahomies, will deliver meals to frontline healthcare workers at Ben Taub Hospital. Additionally, Deshaun Watson will be helping Postmates deliver meals to workers at Truman Medical Center Hospital.

These two charitable aspects to the partnership can make this season even more exciting. Sure, everyone cannot wait to see the promotions, integrations and content from the two companies. More importantly, it will be more interesting to see how the partnership can help people in the NFL communities.
