McDonald’s dropped new J Balvin celebrity menu collaboration
The new McDonald’s J Balvin celebrity menu collaboration is here.
It looks like you have lunch plans. The new McDonald’s celebrity menu collaboration is here. The J Balvin Meal will give everyone the “Vibras.”
If you want a break from the spicy chicken nuggets, a new menu item has come to McDonald’s. The J Balvin Meal features “a Big Mac sandwich, medium World Famous Fries with ketchup, and an OREO McFlurry.”
The special menu item will be available now through November 1 at participating locations. For McDonald’s guests who order via the McDonald’s app, they will receive the OREO McFlurry for free.
Looking at this meal, it combines some classic flavors. The Big Mac has been a menu favorite for decades. It is great to see the iconic menu item getting its due.
While the fries are served with ketchup, you could dip a few into the McFlurry. Sometimes a little riff on a meal can be a good thing.
As a long time fan of the iconic restaurant, J Balvin said, “I am looking forward to sharing my signature order with my fans, along with more surprises that are to come with this partnership. Lego!”
According to McDonald’s U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, Morgan Flatley, “(J Balvin) always been a regular at McDonald’s restaurants during his concert tour, and now we’re excited to bring this go-to order to our menus across the U.S.”
Based on both statements, the new celebrity menu collaboration might just be the start of this partnership. Given the success of previous celebrity menu collaborations, McDonald’s could use this promotion to excite consumers. Maybe J Balvin will give that iconic Big Mac jingle a modern update.
More and more, people are enjoying these types of celebrity menu collaborations. It is a glimpse that celebrities are like us. Food is that universal connection.
Given the success of the Cactus Jack meal and the potential of this J Balvin meal, it begs the question. What celebrity is next? Patrick Mahomes shared his favorite meal before the previous Super Bowl, could he be a future partner?
